Cape Winelands

In the Winelands of the Cape you can find some of the most famous estates in the world such as Spier, Boschendal, La Cotte, Cabrière, Provence, Chamonix, Dieu Donné and La Dauphine all steeped in history with a proud tradition and heritage of wine making. A week touring the wine routes will still leave you with half of it untouched. There are over 500 wine estates within an hour’s drive of Cape Town and the surrounding landscape is stunning. Spend the perfect day out, visiting a few estates, large or small, trying some wines, take a tour of the cellars, enjoy a lazy lunch, then back on the road for a couple more tastings in the afternoon… why not rent an AC cobra for the occasion? Designated driver necessary of course!
