Hola Amigos, como estas? At this time I wanna share about my experience when I was away to Singapore from 16-23 March 2010. It was a blastful trip where I met my friends and had a very encouraging conference hosted by FCBC (Ps. Lawrence and Nina Khong). To come to Singapore I must skip school for a week. It was a hard decision, but I must trade off something to get another. The reason why I wanna come to this conference is because I realized that my spiritual life was dying and I must do something in order to keep my life balanced. When I planned to come to Singapore, only Mom encouraged me to go. But my other relatives and friends did object me to go. Their reasosn was about financial, timing, and skipping school. They were right, but I thought that my spiritual life was way more important than my education. So, I flew to singapore by my self. It wasn't my first time going to Sg. I went there in 2007 and spent 10 days there. So I am quite familiar with it's transportation system and some places. At first and second day, I stayed in Andrea's apartment with her mom in Upper Bukit Timah. But from third until seventh day I stayed in Pastor jerry Low's house in Clementi. About the conference.. The conferenced was held from 18-20 march in Singapore Expo. Actually it was about descipleship system implemented in church, G12 (government of 12). G12 itself is mentoring up to 12 person by a leader and help them to grow in Christ, just like Jesus did when He walked on earth, having 12 desciples. The speaker are Lawrence and Nina Khong, Pastor Caesar Castellanos from Bogota, Pastor Bert Pretorius from Pretoria, Pastor Laudjair Guerra from Gama, Brazil, Pastor Ricardo Santiago from Bogota, Pastor Richard Witmer from Arizona, and Pastor Wes Richards from Windsor, UK. Delegates came from many countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Taiwan, Philipines, Korea, Nepal, India, Japan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Thaliand, and many more. Yeah this was international conference. During the conference days, we had 3 times worship and meal breaks (morning, noon, and evening). The conferences were very tight from 10 AM - 10PM. A day consisted 9 session. Total sessions was 21 (3+9+9). I personally was being blessed by the conference. Especially when Daniel Khong shared about what's our calling in God, Rev Nina Khong shared about mentoring for Christ, and Ps Richard Withman shared about 12 Characteristics of Revolutionary (wooow.. I love this one!). Beside that, the worship sessions were totally awesome. I was deeply brought to the presence of The Lord and falling in love with Him (again!). Three days of conference had blessed me and I wanted to stay in Spore and serve in FCBC (hahaha). But it didnt work like that.. Jakarta is waiting for me.. To be honest, I have vision given for me from the conference. It was felt in my spirit to do something as the result I am blessed from the conference. Moreover my spiritual life was being refreshed and I am really balanced in life. I did enjoy that.. Life become so much easier after that :D yay!! Owhkaaaayyyyy... I know you reader are wondering about what's I learnt from the conference, right? I'll post them very soon in my note and my blog. Don't miss it.. Sorry I cant do it now since (you know..) my school is very hectic school >,< Chaoo xoxo
