Indian Historical Personality

Abul-Kalam was born in Makkah Mukarramah in the year 1888. (11/11/1888).
His father Khairuddin went from Delhi to Makkah Mukarramah and resided there and got married with Mrs. Aliya D/o Muftee
of Makkah. His mother expired when he was in third year of his age.
Then his father Khairuddin returned with his son to India and resided in Calcutta.

Abul-Kalam Aazad was a famous scholar, expert journalist and an eminent writer. Started his studies initially from his
house and got the knowledge of religion and got in depth of different sciences and arts and became expert of Arabic,
Urdu, Hindi, Persian and English. There are number of books for him and one of them is "India wins victory by the
Independence" and "Tarjama-ul-Qur'an".

This is the zealous national hero Abul-Kalam Aazad.
He participated in the "Khilafat Movement" and "Independence Movement for his beloved country.

He was arrested many times for participating in the "Non Co-operation Movement" and in the "Quit India Movement".

Abul-Kalam Aazad issued one "Hilal" magazine and another "Al-Balagh" to awaken the Indians.
He published the concepts which incite the Indians for education and trainings as well as creates the sense of
independence in them. These articles used to irritate the Britishers. So they put him behind the bars and he passed
complete one year in the jail.

Maulana Aazad was selected as a president of Indian National Congress twice.
He became first Minister of Education in Ministry of Mr. Jawaharlal Nehru, who was the first Prime Minister of India.

This Indian hero was expired on 22nd February 1958, may Allah be Merciful on him with His wide Mercy.

India celebrates the "National Education Day" on 11th November every year.
