Summary:
Bhagat Singh was an Indian
freedom fighter and was born in
a small village Chack 105 Banga
Distt Faizlabad Pakistan on 28th
Sep,1907. His family also had
been involved in various
revolutionary activities before his
birth. When he was a teenager,
he studied revolutionary
movements and other
philosophies extensively. He and
his party were constantly
fighting for Indian independence
and has a confirmed view that
poverty in India can be removed
only by establishing socialism in
India. He was one of the most
heroic figures, who played an
important role in Indian
independence. This young man
along with his compatriots not
had firm determination to initiate
a social dynamic force for change
insocial set but stood firm even
at the cost of their lives.He
devoted his life in order to make
India a better country, free from
the British rule.
Early life:
Bhagat Singh was a real hero,
who played a great role and
sacrificed his life for India’s
freedom. He was born in the
Lyallupur district of Punjab and
belonged to a Singh family. His
family also took part in various
revolutionary activities
supporting the independence of
India. He was born on September
28, 1907. From his family, his
father, grandfather and his uncle
were involved in one or the other
revolutionaryactivities. As far as
education in early life is
concerned, he did not attend the
Khalsa High School, which was in
Lahore. This was his father’s
decision as he does not want his
child to study in such a school,
which was supported and
approved by British authorities.
Later, he admitted Bhagat Singh
in Dayanand Anglo Vedic High
School, which was a school run
by Arya Samaj. When Bhagat
Singh was in his teens, he started
followingthe non-cooperation
movement supported by
Mahatma Gandhi. However, when
he grew up, he had formed a
different opinion as according to
him the activities performed by
Mahatma Gandhi were not
sufficient to attain full freedom.
