THE NUTRITIONAL COUNSELING »

My adivice:
food safety is extremely
important for the person
with hiv/aids, since people
with an impaired immune
system are more
susceptible to infections by
food bornepathogens.
Food-borne diseases pose
an unquestionable life-
threatening risk to people
with hiv/aids. Special care
should therefore be taken
with uncooked food
products such as eggs, fish,
meat and unpasteurised
milk.
The hygienic handling of
food and drinking water of
an AIDS patient could be the
difference btw life and
death , so it is important to
keep the kitchen spotless
and germ-free. Annex 2-
The roles of vitamins and
minerals in the body and
their sources.
