Story: Chandu (Aadi) and
Siddharth (Srihari) are
engaged in a tug of war -
a game of one upmanship.
Siddharth wants to protect
his sister Nandini (Rakul
Preet Singh) from this out-
of-nowhere young man
who dares come to his
office and ask for Nandini's
Movie Review: It isn't just
for her beauty but he falls
for the kind heart that has.
However, he opts for a
more difficult route to get
to her heart. And so it
becomes a challenge
between the young man
in love and the girl's
businessman brother
when Chandu challenges
that he will marry Nandini
and that too with
Siddharth's consent.
The story gets more
interesting because of a
smart twist it gets.
Nandini is good friends
with Chandu little
knowing that it is this very
person who dared
challenge her brother. As
the movie progresses, the
comedy which is weaved
into the story provides
relief. Relief because, it
looks like the movie has
been made more to show-
off the fighting skills of
the hero Aadi. Shirtless
and displaying his
muscles, Aadi makes
mincemeat of the ruffians
who are after him,
predictably sent by the
girl's brother. While Aadi
surely deserves
appreciation for his
performance in the fight
sequences, the fight
master and especially the
cinematography play a
huge role in making the
action a treat to watch.
Aadi proves his acting skill
once again with his movie.
Rakul Preet Singh has a
lengthy role and it looks
like she's hit it off well
with the audience.
Oh, well, does Chandu get
his Nandini? Stupid
question to ask because
that is what ought to
happen in a Tollywood
production. The question
is: How does it eventually
happen? At a time it
appears all is lost for
Chandu as Nandini gets to
know that he is a cheat
and a murderer who also
been to jail. Now that is
supposed to mean
suspense. For murder?
When the truth is
unravelled, you will not
want to condemn him.
The production qualities of
the movie are good and
the picturisation of songs
and dances impress.
Nothing new about the
subject but the treatment
makes it watchable. The
movie could have done
with lesser violence.
