Porn scandals. Pierre Woodman's The Tower 2

There was a hardcore porn video series made by a director called Pierre Woodman called The Tower 1, The Tower 2 and The Tower 3 for the Swedish company Private which were based on the Hollywood film Sliver. The second video in the series became controversial in The UK due to the inclusion of father/daughter and mother/daughter incest scenes, anal rape of a girl character by her character's father, the murders of young women characters and naked or semi-naked women lying still and playing murder victims. The films weren't released in The UK due to hardcore porn not being allowed by the BBFC at the time but there existed a black market for copies of hardcore porn videos. As a result of people seeing it after buying a black market copy from a shopkeeper or whatever, it eventually became quite widely seen in The UK and Pierre Woodman was interviewed for a TV programme, perhaps Eurotrash during which the male interviewer got angry and surly as a result of being offended by the video. Woodman reacted by smiling and being friendly while he replied to his questions and statements and no incident developed beyond some verbal hostility and aggression from the angry offended interviewer. He was asked about the parent/daughter incest scenes and the possibility of men being influenced by what they had seen in Tower 2 and he replied by saying he had no idea at that time that the sexual abuse of daughters by their fathers was happening to many girls as the widespread public awareness about that situation only came about in France after he directed Tower 2. He later admitted that was a lie and he did know about that at the time of directing it. He also said he had been pretending to be nicer and more innocent than he really was to avoid being physically attacked by the interviewer and he admitted he was deliberately trying to corrupt people when he directed Tower 2. I remember someone on a discussion programme on TV revealing that the interviewer had later said he had gone to the location of the interview, which was probably in France with the intention of beating Woodman up. Some parts of The Tower 2 have been removed from the version that was released comparatively recently.
