God's Angels

As we begin this study I want to
lay scriptural foundation *see Hebrews1:1-14 at the end of this topic* There is no doubt that Jesus
was the exact expression of God's word in human form. *Heb1:4* "Having become so much better than the Angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than the Angels."
Once Jesus' identity was established, then the writer of Hebrews compares Him to Angels. Jesus is greater than Angels-greater in power and authority. He obtained His position by inheritance, by conquest and it was bestowed upon Him. Because Jesus has been given the place of preeminence on the right hand of God. The Angels, however, are our servants. They are ministering spirits that have been sent to minister for the heirs of salvation. Who are the heirs of salvation? *Galatians3:29* ''And if you are Christ's, then you are Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.'' God's Angels are supernatural beings sent to minister for us. To work for us, to
do supernatural things that we can't do. The night Jesus was taken captive at the garden of Gethsemane, He said *Matt26:53* "Don't you know that I can now pray and God will send more than twelve legions of Angels.'' A Roman legion consisted of six thousand men. You might say "Yeah but He is the Son Of God!'' We are
all Sons and Daughters of God. *1John3:2* "Beloved, now we are children of God. We have the ability as people born of God to summon the Angels as part of our salvation... Don't speak negative words before the Angles. *Isaiah59:19*
"So shall they fear The name of the Lord from the west, And His Glory from the rising of the sun; When the enemy comes in, like a flood the Spirit of God shall raise up a standard
against him."
Get the standard raised up with the words of your mouth. They hearken to the voice of God's word that comes out of your mouth, negative words will deceive the heart. If you talk defeat, then defeat will be produced. The Angels are governed by the precepts of the Supreme Court of the universe, which is the word of God. Their job is to do what God has assigned them to do. As you speak God's word you commission the Angels to move according to that word. There are two ways to put Angels to work. A prayer or by speaking God's word in faith. You should not pray to the Angels, but you can pray for God to send Angels on your behalf if you keep His word. The Holy Spirit and the Angels do not have the same job. They operate in two different area's. The Holy Spirit dwells in you, Angels do not dwell in you; they
are here to minister for you. The Holy Spirit is our teacher. Angels do not operate in the office of teaching, they do not reveal the word of God. The Bible tells us that Angels actually desire to look into things of salvation and redeemption *see 1Peter1:10-12* Occasionally, Angels will be sent to give direction to individuals who are in unusually difficult situations. Angels do from time to time give divine messages but they do not bring revelation knowledge of God's word. It is the will of God for the earth to be like Heaven. The power of binding and loosing is on earth, not in Heaven. If you choose to loose Angels, all Heaven will
stand with you. *Matthew16:19* ''And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in
Heaven. *Luke12:8, 9* "Also I say to you, whoever confesses Me before men, him the Son of Man also will confess before
the Angels of God;
9. "But he that denies Me before men shall be denied before the
Angels of God. *Psalm103:20* Bless the Lord, you His Angels, Who excel in strength, who do His word, Heeding the voice of His word. *Exodus23:20* "Behold, I send an Angel before you to keep you in the way and to bring you into the place which I
have prepared.

Hebrews 1:1-14
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the Fathers of the Prophets,
2. has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made
the world's.
3. who being the brightness of His Glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all
things by the
word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty
on high.
4. having become so much more better than the Angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
5. For which of the Angels did He ever say; "You are My Son, Today I have begotten You"? And again "I will be to Him a Father, And He shall be to Me a Son"?
6. But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says; "Let all the Angels of God worship Him"
7. And of the Angels He says "Who makes His Angels Spirits and His minister a
flame of fire"
8. But to the Son He says; "Your Throne, O God, is forever and ever; A scepter of righteousness is the scepter of
Your Kingdom.
9. You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed you With the oil of gladness
more than Your companions.
10. And; You, Lord, in the beginning layed the foundation of the earth, and the Heavens are the work of
Your hands.
11. They will perish but you will remain; And they will grow old like a garment;
12. Like a cloak You will fold them up, And they will be changed, But You are the same, And Your years
will not fail.
13. But to which of the Angels has ever He said; "Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool."
14. Are they not all ministering Spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit SALVATION?
