blue rain walp long goodbye

rain «

In unannounced procession, the ash gray clouds began to assemble,
Tortured faces of silent screams, long forgotten dead do they resemble.

Filling with a chilling chorus from raven's breast,
Pounding heart, foggy breathe desperate to escape thine heaving chest.

Blood stained hands raised to the turbulent sky,
Screaming Oh my Father make me die!

Like fabric tearing from hot, wanton flesh,
Electricity rips through the clouds with an ultimate test.

Unmoved by shocking fury releasing an anguished scream,
Reliving the same epic nightmare in a rose colored dream!

The anger subsides.....something dies.

The bulbous clouds crack like eggs joining my tears in endless sorrow,
Knowing we'll start the nightmare all over tomorrow.

Howling in vain from the soul crushing pain,
Scratch, pluck and pull at the throbbing veins.

Jagged pieces of soul strewn about the land are all that remains,
Caked in mud and quickly sinking, dragged down by burdensome chains.

From the muck and filth, center of their birth,
Their only purpose to swallow whole and choke with earth.

The water's of my gray Father Sky pool around,
I relinquish control to the chains and prepare to die.
