A Declaration and 2 Amendments

When...it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume...the separate & equal station vo which the Laws of Nature...entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed...with certain unalienable
Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty & the pursuit of Happiness. - That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. - That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, & to institute new Government...it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government...
THE FIRST 2 AMMENDMENTS TO THE CONSTITUTION:
*I.* Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
*II.* A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
