Aspirin by Felix Hoffman in 1897

Felix Hoffman, a German chemis, produced a stable form od acetylsalicylic acid, more commonly known as aspirin. In 1897, Hoffman was searching for something to relive father's arthritis. He studied French chemist Charles Sergardt's experiments and "rediscovered" acetylsalicylic acid or aspirin, as we know it.
