thillumullu - Man Indian

A boy once asked his dad,"dad, hw do wars begin?"
"well, take the 1st world war,"said his dad."thats got started whn germany invaded belgium." immediately his wife interrupted him,"tell the boy the truth! It began bcoz smbody was assassinated!" the husband drew himself up wth an air of superiority and snapped back,"r u answering the question or am i?" turning her back upon him in a huff, the wife stormed out the room and slammed the door as hard as she could!
Whn the dishes stopped rattling in the cupboard an uneasy silence followed, broken at length by the boy:
"daddy, u dont hav to tell me hw wars begin, I KNOW now!"
believe it or not, more homes r destroyed by arguments than by fires or funerals!
We all knw tht arguing for the sake of arguing is a pointless waste of time! We hav absolutely NOTHING to gain, and our time, energy and someone's frndship to LOSE! Some ppl love to argue, and wil do anything to prove their point! They'd rather lose a frnd thn an arguement. For others, arguing has become a HABIT, an automatic reaction of saying smthing contradictory to whatever is being said! Noone ever really wins an arguement. And remember, no amount of logic or arguement wil make anyone change his mind if he doesnt want to!
U cant win an arguement, bcoz if u lose it, u lose it! And if u WIN it, u lose it! WHY? Well, a man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still!
And what is all boils down to is a lack of LOVE!
Arguing isn't the real prbm, thts jst a symptom!--A LACK OF LOVE is the real prbm!
Thts one of the major lessons tht god wants us to learn, hw to LOVE ppl, hw to work wth thm, hw to treat thm, hw to giv the other person the advantage and the benefit of the doubt, hw to build thm up unselfishly, instead of selfishly tearing thm down through convention and argument!
All this is a part of LEARNING TO LOVE, to put ourselves in other people's shoes, to "do unto others as you would hav thm do unto you!"
