SOCCER FITNESS TRAINING

Since the 1970's,physical conditioning has become an integral part of football.The game has transformed tactically and a players position means close to nothing.Most defenders are required to run down the wing,while attackers often check back to link up with the halfbacks.An average professional player,runs about 6-9 kilometers(4-6 miles) per match.Some midfielders cover up 13-15 kilometers(8 miles)
