Our beloved prophet Muhammed s.a.w was the greatest man to walk on the earth and an example for us all.

He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on earth. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and he revolutionized the world of human thought and human action for all.

And he accomplished all this in an unbelievable short span of 23 years.

Our prophet Muhammed s.a.w was born in arabia in 570 CE and past away at the age of 63. By this time the whole of the arabian peninsular had changed from paganism and idol worship to the worship of One god, from tribal quarrels and wars to national solidarity, from drunkennes to piety, from lawlessness to disciplined living, from utter moral bankruptcy to the highest standard of moral excellence.

Human history has never known such a complete transformation of people or place before and since.

The encyclopedia calls him "the most succesful of all religious personalities."

Bernard Shaw said "if Muhammed s.a.w was alive today he would succeed in solving all the problems that threaten to destroy human civilization in our times."

Thomas Carlysle was amazed at how one man single handedly could weld warring tribes into such a powerful and civilized nation in such a short time.

Indeed no other human being has ever accomplished so much in such diverse fields of human thought and behavior in such a limited space of time. He was a religious teacher, a social reformer, a political thinker, a military genius, a faithful friend, a wonderful companion, a devoted husband and a loving father. No other man has ever excelled or equalled him in any of these difficult departments of life.

He showed so much love and mercy to his people that he would go for days on end without food so that he could feed the poor and needey. He helped his people in many ways financially and through advice and duas, even the non believers would come to him for advice on certain matters. During the day he would help his people and at night he would make dua to Allah to guide them and protect them from the fire of hell.

He would even cry and make dua to Allah for the non believers asking Allah to forgive them saying "O Allah it is because of my weakness that they do not believe in you" such was the love and mercy of our prophet even though the non believers used to be a thorn in his way and would try and make his life as difficult as possible.

Our prophets love and mercy spread quickly amongst the people transformiog them from people who would once bury their daughters alive to people who would starve to death for one another.

Our prophet Muhammed s.a.w brought with him the Quran and a new way of living he brought with him hope of a better life and showed the people how to love one another.

Our beloved prophet was the seal of all prophets and a mercy to mankind as well as an example for us all. I have only touched on a few qualities of our beloved prophet Muhammed s.a.w for more info please purchase 'Finality of the prophet hood.' by molana mufti shafi.
