Speed up your phone, safely

Open up your phone's menu and go to LOG. (this utility keeps track of your recent calls, duration etc). Go to options--->settings and change your log duration to 1 DAY. That's it! (no logging at all has no benefit over 1 day log).

FREE MORE RAM AND ENJOY YOUR GAMES

Install appman and file explorer in your Phone Memory. Don’t install onmemory card Make phone memory at least 4.5MB. After making thatspace in Phone Memory, change the message memory in use. Sure you know how to do that. Put the Memory Card in a Card Reader and open it
in your PC. Then rename the System folder as System1 and Create another System folder. Now copy the game folders in System1 to the newly created system folder. E:\System\Apps. Don’t forget to create Apps and Data folders in the new System folder before copying. Put the
memory card back into your Phone. Go to AppMan, under processes tab change settings to Exclude ROM Processes. So you wont tamper with ROM Processes. Change message memory in use. Kill rest processess in
the Processess column. Now you have two profiles for your mobile..
System1 and System. You can install new games or even applications. To get back the original files you must rename system1 back to system.. But
your icons in the menu will not be arranged. You may arrange them manually or you take backup ofC:\System\Data\Applications.dat
before starting this operation. After renaming System1 toSystem, replace the file Applications.dat to the same path and restart your Phone.I Tried it and it works 100% and I played some of my games that
refuses to open because of low memory, especially some JAVA games. I’m using Nokia 6630. Good Luck man

ok first of all if u notice that while ur changing the msg memory (from phone to MMC or
vice versa) u will be asked if u whant to copy the msg to the new Memory

but after few days and maybe weeks try to change the msg memory and u will notice that ur
not asked to copy the msg's to the new memory

in that case all u have to do is open FileMan or FExplorer.......n now....

if u want to copy ur phone msgs to the MMC then go to

E:/System/Mail

u will find a file named Index

Delete this file and now when u change ur memory the phone will ask u if u
want to copy them to the new memory

if u want to copy ur MMC msgs to the phone memory then go to

C:/system/Mail

and delete the index file

this trick help u in case u whant to format ur phone and u want to keep ur important msgs

Increase S60 Speed

1.If you have Symantec Mobile Security installed, disable auto-protect or uninstall the whole thing if you feel safe enough without it because Symantec can’t recognize this trick and refuse to start. The better way is, change ur AV app to other. ex. F-secure, simswork av etc.

2. First, go to menu and select LOG and then press. Then press option, go to setting. On log duration set the log to 1 day. The more days its set, the slower it seems to be.

3. Use a Default theme. (For n3230 owner, no.2 default theme is pretty nice). If u install 3rd party theme, it will be slower especially if install it on MMC( the more ur MMC memory, the more your phone will be slow

HOWTO: Check the Condition of your MobyMemory Card

From Windows Explorer:

From Windows you can check the memory using the Error Checking utility available for any drive connected to the system.

To access, connect your Memory card to the PC with a memory card reader. (Remember to insert the memory card into the reader before connecting the reader to the machine.).

The memory card should appear in Windows Explorer, as a new drive letter, and with the label [Removable Drive] next to it.

Right-click on the drive icon for the memory card, and select [Properties] from the options listed.

When the Properties dialog appears, tab across to the Tools tab, and the first option listed will be Error-Checking.

Click the [Check Now..] button and the memory card will be scanned for errors.

From DOS Prompt:

Open a DOS Prompt (or Cmd Window) from the Startup menu.

At the prompt, type the Drive letter of your memory card followed by colon and enter:

C:> ChkDsk <drive_letter>:

The Chkdsk utility will then run, and report back its findings.

If there are any problems reported then the memory card should be formatted:

at the command prompt, this can be achieved by typing:

C:> format i: /FS:FAT

this will re-format the drive i: (my memory card), to the FAT file system).

This should fix any problems with the card.

NOKIA 6630 Test Mode

if ur phone went to test mode while trying to charge then press 01# when you are in Test Mode. I think this will exit the 'Test Mode'
