aside.river.rhine - Newest pictures


Beside the road,

where reality is slow

As you might not have known, this picture is taken somewhere near the town of Bacharach, near the 'Loreley'-rock, where in 1984 - I'm sure, you remember this - Frank Zappa, Rory Gallagher, The Sisters of Mercy and The Alarm played along. It was a rainy afternoon with a little hope for better weather in the evening, the rain stopped, shortly after Mr. Zappa's words 'Welcome to the 7th gooolden summer night!'. We laughed first, than listened enthusiastically!

Well, I just mentioned this tiny little episode of my own past, back from the old days when I was a young grown up - I'm still young, but older now - for all the folks, that for whatever reason, could not had been part of this event, but like to read words like the above, that can paint a picture of another line of reality in their mind, they never were part of - i.e. this reality -, but nevertheless like to read about.

But the picture, for sure, is much younger, it dates from 2009, when I was over there to search my daughter's youth hostel, not her own, but the one, she slept in temporarily, and for, however, she had to be brought somewhere else.

Before I could reach her, unfortunatly I HAD to stop at this very special place, for my body had changed some liquids and I needed a place, preferably a bush or a tree nearby, that would be pleasured by being surrounded with this very special human resource, I needed to make it's way out of my body... I hope you understand what I'm actually talking around, in order to make this text not too sick...

Did you know that in former times there were elephants, hippos and small tigers around the river rhine? No? Well, now you do, but you may not know, what this knowledge is good for. It's the same like reading 'The Sun' - you know something, but you do not know, why and what it's good for or against...

It's like writing these words, it's a pleasure for no reason!

But, let's get serious, folks, reading 'The Sun' or sth similar is no pleasure too, especially...
