First sermon of Mount

Matthew 5:1-4 - Seeing the crowd, climbed the mountain and sitting down, his disciples came to him. 2 And opening his mouth taught, saying: 3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. 4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will receive consolation.

Jesus had traveled throughout Galilee (Matthew 4) John the Baptist was in prison, and Jesus preached the gospel, teaching in their synagogues, healed the sick and ill health of the people, it was still a lot of people about this, and no synagogue could contain such a crowd, only a scenario like the mountain could do Matthew 5: Jesus takes the top, and starts his sermon, "opening his mouth" <<Principio a speech solemne>>, but first it is important to remember who is speaking, to listen know? Luke 8:18. He is the Lord of heaven and earth, the creator of everything that exists, is right in his creatures; governor of the eternal kingdom, from eternity to eternity. The great legislator who can save and lose Stg 4:12. The more we knew and knows intimate nature, is light for those in darkness Lk 1:79.

I. The great prophet of God Acts 3:23

A. What are you teaching? The road to heaven, the true path to eternal life declaring that perfect and complete truth of God. Not a word more, wisdom emanates from El; contests to scribes and Pharisees, and corrects the belief of salvation

B. Who is talking? Not only to the apostles as many believe, and if it had not risen to the mountain, then quarter would have been enough, spoke to the crowd, all those who wanted to learn, to all generations to come, all humanity

II. V.3 Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven ...

A. Who was this people that are in the bush?: Many were poor economically, but all were poor internally, not necessarily externally, poor in spirit. The willingness of heart is the 1st step to real happiness. It does not refer to those who make vows of poverty, 1 Tim 6:10 The root of all evil is the love of money. The real poor in spirit are the humble, those who know themselves, who have been convinced of sin, those who have repented:

You can not say I am rich, I do not need anything

We now know who is blind, hapless, poor, naked Ap 3:17

Spiritually known poor

He knows what's disgusting sin

Clearly distinguishes between the intentions of the heart

Distinguishes between hatred, envy, anger, revenge

He knows he has offended and offends with his tongue

His works are innumerable

Heb 2:3 How can escape, if you neglect so great a salvation?

B. He knows that there is no scope to pay, then lost this or that and what do not know how to walk in this new light Mt 8:25 <<Señor save me because perezco>> The poverty of spirit is the first step to Heb 12:1, vistámonos Race for the sin has been discovered, we acquired the virtue of humility <<Ro 3:19>> must be humiliated before the holiness of God, (because Justified by faith, not by works).

C. Jesus is the teaching of religion on religion: The Salt preached 51:5 Wake sinner, and the kingdom is manifested in these humble, the kingdom in the soul of these humble, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven

Whoever you are you, whom God has granted him being poor in spirit. Note that being poor is an opportunity, not condemnation, not faint brothers, just one more step and you're in the kingdom Peace and joy (Rom 14:17); Jn 1:29 <<Behold the lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world>> learn from our Lord, we are meek and humble of heart like me (Matthew 11:29), as poverty of spirit is the principle of guilt, and the end of the wrath of God. Depend on it, in thought, feeling, we have shame and tender loving humiliation, and many have already reached this point: Believer God knows that the joy of salvation, often does not last long, Blessed are those who mourn, for they will receive consolation, no cry for material or personal losses, refers to those who mourn for God, for those who have been because the temptation and sin even this besieging <<42:10 Sal said the enemy <<Donde is your Dios>>. That is why we cry, but expect the will of God, these shall be comforted by the Holy Spirit Ephesians 1:6.

Romans 8:35, 38-39:35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? ¿Tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As 38Por am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 or so high, nor depth, nor any other created thing can separate us the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Brother, blessed our Lord Jesus Christ, since we have been blessed indeed.
