Psalm a Prayer

3:4 To the LORD I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill.

7:7 O LORD!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.

18:40 You made my enemies turn their backs in flight,
and I destroyed my foes.

4:1 Answer me when I call to you,
O my righteous God.
Give me relief from my distress;
be merciful to me and hear my prayer.

4:8 I will lie down and sleep in peace,
for you alone, O LORD,
make me dwell in safety.

7:1 O LORD my God, I take refuge in you;
save and deliver me from all who pursue me,

11:7 For the LORD is righteous,
he loves justice;
upright men will see his face.

13:5~6 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.

16:1 Keep me safe, O God,
for in you I take refuge.

18:3 I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise,
and I am saved from my enemies.

19:1~2 The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they display knowledge.

18:6 In my distress I called to the LORD;
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came before him, into his ears.

18:18~19 They confronted me in the day of my disaster,
but the LORD was my support.
He brought me out into a spacious place;
he rescued me because he delighted in me.

22:26 The poor will eat and be satisfied;
they who seek the LORD will praise him—
may your hearts live forever!

23:1~2 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

25:8 Good and upright is the LORD;
therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.

25:1~2 To you, O LORD, I lift up my soul;
in you I trust, O my God.
Do not let me be put to shame,
nor let my enemies triumph over me.

25:11~12 For the sake of your name, O LORD,
forgive my iniquity, though it is great.
Who, then, is the man that fears the LORD ?
He will instruct him in the way chosen for him.

25:15 My eyes are ever on the LORD,
for only he will release my feet from the snare.

26:12 My feet stand on level ground;
in the great assembly I will praise the LORD.

27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The LORD is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid?

27:5 For in the day of trouble
he will keep me safe in his dwelling;
he will hide me in the shelter of his tabernacle
and set me high upon a rock.

27:7 Hear my voice when I call, O LORD;
be merciful to me and answer me.

27:9 Do not hide your face from me,
do not turn your servant away in anger;
you have been my helper.
Do not reject me or forsake me,
O God my Savior.

28:1 To you I call, O LORD my Rock;
do not turn a deaf ear to me.
For if you remain silent,
I will be like those who have gone down to the pit.

28:6~7 Praise be to the LORD,
for he has heard my cry for mercy.
The LORD is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and I am helped.
My heart leaps for joy
and I will give thanks to him in song.

30:2~3 O LORD my God, I called to you for help
and you healed me.
O LORD, you brought me up from the grave ;
you spared me from going down into the pit.

30:11~12 You turned my wailing into dancing;
you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy,
that my heart may sing to you and not be silent.
O LORD my God, I will give you thanks forever.

31:5 Into your hands I commit my spirit;
redeem me, O LORD, the God of truth.

31:17 Let me not be put to shame, O LORD,
for I have cried out to you;
but let the wicked be put to shame
and lie silent in the grave.
