CHILDHOOD HELL

Seems when I'm happy the skies are bright. But when I'm sad the clouds come out. When I cry my tears the rain will fall. But when I'm angered the storm befalls.

Am I cursed as my mother said. Beating me senselessly day after day. Words of cruelty and dread. Telling me she wished me dead.

I never meant a thing to her. I was worse than a mangy cur. To be cursed and beaten senselessly. To her i'm a demon child you see.

I was cursed the day I was born. My childhood shattered and torn. Kept in a room day after day. No one to talk to nor to play.

My father I never knew. My mother was evil and very cruel. To her I was nothing but a tool. To be used and abused.

Nightmares at night and screams by day. Someway some how I had to get away. Crawled out the window there I stood. Then ran off into the woods.

Some of the pain I endured lives within me still. Haunting my nights as memories will. Life goes on whether bad or good. And nothing can ever be the way it should.
