Part 1 - THE SECRET OF RENNES-LE-CHATEAU

On top of a hill in southwest France, Rennes-le-Château is a lonely place, under the burning sun in summer and whipped by cold winds in winter. His dominance over the rest of the region is the only possible reason that has been inhabited since ancient times. His castle is mute witness to past greatness. The vision of the snowy peaks of the Pyrenees, the only compensation to the difficulties of living in place so inaccessible. Even the modern road becomes tedious to ascend from the valley to the top. View from afar, people seem isolated from the rest of the world, a place forgotten by time. Printing soon dissipated by the many visitors who go back slope animated by a single purpose: Discover your enigma, enter their secret, and that is that Rennes-le-Château holds the prestige of being the most mysterious place in Europe, the scene of strange events and casualties, the birthplace of fabulous treasures and keeper of the most well-kept secret in history. The enigma of Rennes-le-Château begins in Roman times. After that soldiers of the Emperor Titus looted and destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem in 70 AD, the spoils - the treasure of the Temple of Solomon - was transferred to Rome, where he stayed for more than three centuries, until the Empire began to crumble. In the year 410 the Visigoths, Alaric by acaudillados, sacked Rome, taking \ "The Treasure of the Temple ". Two years later landed on the southern shores of Gaul. The region of Rennes-le-Château were pleased, establishing permanent and founding a kingdom that it would soon jump into the Pyrenees and spread through northern Spain. We do not know if it is true that the treasure \ "The ark of the covenant and the Tablets of the Law of Moses " reached or not to Gaul, but never knew him. And it is possible that might lie hidden in the area around Rennes-le-Château. In fact, no lack who wanted to see a relationship between the Ark and the people of Arques, not far from Rennes. After the arrival of the Visigoths to Rennes, there were two centuries of relative stability, until in the sixth century came from the north the Merovingians, who extended their dominion over the kingdom Visigoth. These invaders were carriers of a sophisticated culture and buried its sovereigns with jewels and treasures. One of these kings, Dagobert II, married in Rennes-le-Château with the Visigoth princess Gizella Breeds. Obvious is that the legendary wealth of the Merovingian, well documented by archeology, has given rise to tales of fabulous treasures yet to be discovered in the region of Rennes. Considering the magnetism of that district to the treasures of all kinds, it is not surprising that in those places are expected hides the most precious jewel of Christianity. And risky as it may seem, it is quite possible that to happen, as the Holy Grail may well come to such places as it has the legend: \ "At some point in the first century, Joseph of Arimathea and Mary Magdalene landed in southern France, bringing the so-called Grail, where Joseph of Arimathea collected the precious blood of Jesus Crucified \ ". This is plausible since then the southern Gaul served the Roman emperors as a convenient place where to send the exiles. Among the illustrious undesirable that at one time or another stopped there because they have lost include Imperial's grace, both Herod Antipas as Pontius Pilate. Historically it is possible that Mary Magdalene and Joseph, as faithful followers of Jesus, forced to undertake the journey to Gaul. In the first century of our era there were permanent shipping routes across the Mediterranean, which facilitated the travel to circumvent the arduous land routes. Many Jewish families were then in the district of Rennes-le-Château, and according to one of the theories, one more than make up the enigma of the region, as did Mary Magdalene landed with a son of Jesus, establishing and a messianic dynasty. Under this view the Holy Grail no longer be a chalice that collects the blood of Christ to become synonymous with the GRI-or Royal Blood, which would be identified with the genealogy of the descendants of Christ until today. However, the true nature of the Grail, is a subject as mysterious as the origins of the legend. In the older version, the Grail is a golden object, a magical stone, in other post is the Holy Chalice used during the Last Supper of Jesus, or is the cup that Joseph of Arimathea used to collect their blood. Assuming that these explanations have been derived, the original Grail could be almost anything. Later the chivalry of the legend became part of the cycle Arturiano medieval who were later extended by romanticism. Establishing a connection linking the equestrian real Holy Grail with the commonly called Knights Templar. The Templars were a monastic order and military, providing votes of chastity, poverty and obedience, and they achieved great popularity and influence after the First Crusade and the conquest of Jerusalem. They had their house destroyed near the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem, site which was granted to 1120. Some evidence suggests that the founding group of nine knights had already been formed even before appearing publicly as an Order. They spent the first few years without much increased their ranks until in 1135 -1140 began his meteoric rise into an economic and political strength of the first magnitude. They even have more power than some kings, and that was the main factor of his sudden and shocking fall, which culminated in the dissolution of the Order and the dispersal of his wealth and possessions. For its past splendor and by the experiences accumulated in the Near East, however, was around them an aura of mystery. It was said that the Templars had conducted excavations in the interior of the Temple Mount, and still makes guesses about the reasons they would have to open tunnels in such a sacred place. One of the theories says they found a treasure, which carried with them when they returned to France to hide in the region of Rennes-le-Château, and that this treasure was none other but the true and Holy Grail. But none of this would have happened to be simple captions or speculation, had it not been for an exceptional discovery occurred just over a century in the church of Rennes-le-Château where, a Catholic priest named Francois Bérenger Saunière, rose to new and dizzying heights the legend of Rennes

1 Parte - EL SECRETO DE RENNES-LE-CHATEAU
