Air contains energy.This energy also known as prana is absolutely essential for the maintenance of life.
It stimulates our thoughts.
The area of its storage is in the solar-plexus.
The more you have,the healthier you are,both in mind and body.
If you breathe irregularly,you are irregular in the mind.
When your breath is steady,so are you.
Here is a breathing exercise to help you breathe properly.
This exercise can be done either sitting,standing or lying down.
Start by slowly taking in air by swelling out the lower abdomen.
Next,as you continue inhaling,swell out the chest using the ribs and the intercostal muscles.
This fills the whole lung area and prevents pockets of stale air which can lead to asthma,voice complaints and lung congestion.
When you breathe out lower the ribs and then push up the abdomen to squeeze as much stale air as possible from your lungs.
Do ten rounds of this breathing exercise at least once a day.
You will soon notice the benefits.
