○○The real Dracula○○

The real Dracula - fact or fiction about Vlad the Impaler's life.

The real Dracula, Vlad the Impaler, left us many unknowns about his short life. Historical facts show us a picture with lots of black spots on it. People tried to replace them by more or less convenient suppositions.

Those mistakes come because people were bombed with lots of fictional stories and they simply don't have a clue about the few historical data. Well, they are only few but their knowledge can giveus a different image of Vlad's character. So, where do people fall into a trap because of those suppositions?

Many people seriously ask themselves if he's a vampire; if he can resurrect from death. Supposing the vampire myth is a reality, and knowing about Vlad the Impaler's ego, do you think he can let alive anybody who believed and spread the Saxon stories? Lucky you!! Vlad Dracula died more than five centuries ago and Count Dracula, the vampire, is just a myth.

I just want to clarify something: the town where Vlad Dracula was suposedly born. Supposed? There are no notes about Vlad Dracula or his life before 1437 after his father become the ruler of Wallachia and his name was written for the first time in a princely charter.

Historians suppose he was born sometime between December 1430 and February 1431. But because there are notes that place Vlad (the father of Vlad the Impaler) in Vienna at the end of 1430 and in Sighisoara at the beginning of 1431 some scholars suggest the hypotheses that Vald could have been born in Vienna.
